Ryan Archer, Ying Gu, Malorie Fisher

About the Project

Our project team chose to explore how virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) can be leveraged for soft skills training through immersive learning experiences. We look at how principles of embodiment experience in a virtual environment can strengthen interpersonal skills development, and examine some emerging ventures in this field. We created an interactive resource online to present our findings, and incorporated extended reality into our OER including 360 video, a VR simulation scenario using Rumii, and various case studies as we took the group through a week-long learning experience.
